Hosting a Third Degree
Procedure for hosting a Third Degree:
1. Complete application for a Third Degree as found in the Grand Knight's Handbook and online at NJKofC.org
2. Consult with your District Deputy as to his availability on 2-3 dates.
3. Submit application as directed to State Ceremonials Chairman.
4. Once your date has been approved you will be notified as to the Degree Captain who will be your contact.
5. Promote the Degree through the Chapter, the Diocese, and the State.
6. Assign a point person (usually your FS) to coordinate the number of candidates from each Council.
7. Have your DD as a contact person as well.
Special Note
All Candidates MUST have a Jacket and Tie for the Exemplification. No candidate will be permitted to proceed unless he is properly dressed.
Observers should be suitably dressed as well.
