Baby Nicholas Fundraiser
Baby Nicholas Francis Keil was born October 2nd 2011 with a very rare birth disorder and spent the first month of his life in Children's Hospital of PA (Chop) Intensive Care Unit for premature babies. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, with only 200 known cases. B
Before his birth, doctors suspected a problem and abortion was discussed. Of course, his family coming from a strong Catholic faith up-bringing, this option was out of the question. Now that he is home and with his family, he must maintain visits with doctors and visits to CHOP and other medical experts in and out of state. He will need medical care for the rest of his life. The family has gone under extreme financial distress. A
Annunciation Council 3826, has taken up the fight for Nicholas Francis and want to help the family with their medical expense with a buffet dinner dance fund-raiser. In the three month period since his birth the expenses after the insurance has paid its percentage, runs approx $1,000 weekly and the cost is rising with the talk of surgery in the near future. Another expense was the ambulance to CHOP that is not covered by insurance. We are asking for your prayers and invite you to take part in this baby fund-raiser and any help in any manor possible you can provide. Look over the flier attached and contact Frank Ingrassia, GK 3826, with any questions you may have.
